That’s more like a Northerner’s guide to looking like a cowgirl.
A real Ranger starter pack would include a trailer made out of the bed of another pickup, a few rakes and brooms, twelve feet of lawn trimmings, and two different types of wheels. If you want to be real legit you’ll still be sporting Sonora plates. Extra points if you have a four door. Definitely no guns visible through the windows.
-guy who’s owned a few Rangers in a place that still has cowboys and girls.

If I never had to hear old town road again it would still be too soon. It's basically white rednecks way of saying I'm not racist, I have a black friend

Oh that would be really on the nose! lol

Oh I know! This is highly specific to my plans for my Gambler 500 theme, which is currently “cowgirl power ranger”.

That’s a great collage except for the Ranger*.
*The Ford Ranger is a robust and dependable conveyance, just a miserable thing to drive.

Nooooo! Mine’s fine to drive. I mean it drives like a truck which means not like my little go kart smarts , but I don’t find anything wrong with how it drives. :D

Mine was pretty decent to drive. It had plenty of power and the 5-speed was reasonably crisp. To ride in? Not so much. I think Smarts have more interior room.

You forgot a Gadsden sticker.
I have one of these somewhere but I can’t find it. As soon as I do it's going on my F-150.

My wife had one for a work truck that was V6/Auto and it wasn’t bad. Velour seats, A/C, et cetera. Then they gave her a new one with a four-banger and a five-speed and it was underpowered and had a choppy throttle which made it impossible to drive smoothly, and too-tall gearing and boy, did I ever hate that thing. And did I mention, no A/C because the boss was too cheap?

I had a 2009 with a 4-cylinder and it seemed alright. I drove it in the mountains a bunch and it never felt too underpowered. But I had to drive a coworker to the office one morning and he was a big guy like me. That was the dictionary definition of claustrophobic.

Couldn’t have been any more cramped than me, my brother , and my dad crammed into his single cab 1g Taco

Yeah, don’t try to swing that in the South. The Ranger is the hairdressers’ car of the truck world. My wife told me that I was lucky she didn’t see my little truck before she had already agreed to go out with me. :)

I don’t know. Co-worker was a large dude. I think he was somewhere between 350-400 lbs at the time. I’m nowhere near that big, but I swear the doors sprung open when we got to work. But that gen Tacoma is pretty tiny too, so could be.
Three across is miserable in most trucks, even full size. I think those are the worst times I’ve had in a vehicle; crammed into a single-cab work truck with two other guys, in summer, and the A/C doesn’t work (or it doesn't even have A/C).

I once had 3 people in the cab of my Ranger, all of us wearing big winter coats.
